A pretty unique mount setup from butterfly guard, which is a pretty common position that we find ourselves in nowadays when training in submission grappling or MMA. This guard pass/mount setup is pretty powerful considering that you would not need to half guard or even side control in able for you to get the mount position.
It is important that you keep the underhook on the opposite side of where you will be passing AND the underhook on the same side of where you’re going to pass to upon completing this technique as you are vulnerable to a kneebar as shown in the video. Enjoy.
